Very Rare James Dean 1985 Limited edition SCHOTT PERFECTO JD1 Horsehide Black Biker Jacket 42 "JAMES DEAN, 1985 THE JAMES DEAN FOUNDATION, Schott Bros. Inc., NEW YORK, NEW YORK U.S.A" Label sewn into the black satin lining. A little information on the jacket: The JD-1 was a 1985 Limited Edition in Horsehide leather jacket, with Genuine Mouton Fur collar, Brass hardware and the heavy basketweave Steerhide belt Note: This jacket is missing the Mouton Fur collar and the Basketweave belt, but has a belt similar to a regular Patrolman police motorcycle jacket. The leather laces on the sides do not match - one side has a brown backing to the leather and does not look original. The James Dean patch has some light-yellow staining on it - I have not attempted to clean. Leather is in overall great shape and has a great patina with tons of life left in it. Fit is slim fit motorcycle jacket - based on the actual jacket that James Dean wore iin many photos.
