I am looking for information on top. The company was known for whimsical screenprinted fabrics, many of which were designed by Bud Jackson. These fabrics were made into dresses, slacks, and skirts. They also had a line of golf wear. The company closed in 1981. I can't find anything on a plain shirt. Please help!

Vested Gentress did have I think three boutique stores in the 70s, in PA, NJ and FL. I've seen a number of these tops in my travels, and I think they were probably meant to pair with the screen-printed items featured in their collections, particularly in the stores. VG actually had a lot of different items in their line, over time. I've got a tagged apron and a pair of oven mitts. I can't find anything that suggests they had an actual housewares line, though.

Hi, I believe that shirt was part of a set. My Mom had a VERY similar (meaning, a solid color from V.G.) top. The set came with,a skirt, the solid colored top & gauchos (I hope I spelled that correctly).

Not sure what type of information you’re searching for, but I’ve got several Vested Gentress pieces. They’re all sort of a soft sheet like cotton with colorful, quirky prints (I have a dress with tulips all over, one with dogs, one with tomatoes, etc...). The dress I’m wearing right now has the same RN number as your shirt. I know yours is not for sell, but it’s very comical what people try to charge for the brand.
