Victorian Era Hand Made Valentine

It’s a little painful, but I’m letting go of some of my Antique Valentines. I’ve been collecting them for years, but apart from a couple that I have tucked into my dresser mirror, they are not being loved as they should be, sitting in a tin box. This charming Valentine was hand made. And I might say, with words perhaps a bit bold for the times 😉 The apex of Valentine making was achieved in the Victorian Era, when elaborate cards like this one were created with pictorial scraps, lace, printed verses and colored papers. I’m listing under “Home” because Poshmark does not have a Unisex Category! This charming little card will make an incredible Valentine for someone special who appreciates romantic paper art from yesteryear. Amazing condition for its age.
