Victorian Gold Filled Oval Locket Pendant

Antique Victorian Gold Filled Oval Locket Pendant The cover on this Victorian gold filled oval locket pendant is adorned with an applied scroll, bar, and leaves framed by a delicate geometric pattern. The reverse is machine-turned in a beautiful and delicate pattern. This locket will fit two photos. One size has the bezel and original glass. The other will fit an additional photo by pressure. The locket itself is 1 1/8" tall, not including the rings on the top. It is 7/8" at the widest point and almost 1/2" deep at the center of the applied bar, the highest point. It weighs approximately 7.7 grams. It is in excellent condition with light signs of age and regular use. Estimated to date from the 1880s based on the design.
