Victorian Hallmarked Silver Repousse Button-Hook with Grape Motif

Lovely sterling silver button-hook was used to button shoes / clothes and lace-up corsets. It has a British hallmark on the silver repousse handle decorated with grape clusters and vines. The hallmark is W.D with an anchor lion and 1. According to British hallmarks is possibly: William Davies Hockley Hill Birmingham 1910 The hollow handle is 2 3/4 in long with a seam joining the halves. The 4 in hook is stamped steel.
