Victorian Nouveau Gold Filled Locket Purple Stone JJS

Gorgeous vintage Victorian locket pendant with a beautiful Art Nouveau look and little paste rhinestones on top of a purple stone. Lovely embossed floral design with slightly concave front and undecorated back. Inside are two plastic-covered compartments for photos or keepsakes. Inside is marked JJS in a diamond for the J.J. Sommer Company, in business from 1896-1934. Measures 1 3/4" x 1 5/8" excluding loop at top Condition is wonderful with just some darkened paste stones and some darkened finish on the cannetille parts of the design -- not sure if it will polish out, as I like to leave the original patina. No chain.
