Ornate Whitby Jet carved bracelet, ca. 1880-90. The bracelet has a central carved and polished piece, with nine surrounding smaller pieces. I've restrung it on elastic to fit my small wrist, but it can be loosened or tightened on any kind of elastic cord to fit one's wrist. It's in perfect condition, no scratches or dents. A truly unusual piece.

vintagerina @niddiebone Hi -- The middle panel is 1 3/4 and the surrounding ones are 3/4. I purchased the bracelet at an antique show in NYC in the early 90s when I was collecting a lot of Victorian jewelry, and I've never again seen anything quite like it.
