Victorian engagement ring with box

This is a classic engagement ring. It’s age is Victorian. It’s antique and is in beautiful condition. The vintage box is included. The ring is made of yellow gold that chemically tests to be a fineness of approximately 12 karat gold. I can not detect hallmarks inside of the band. This is typical of rings over 150 years old. Wear and custom sizing can also be a factor as to why there’s no visible hallmarks. The stone is a lovely old rock crystal. A quartz that was cut in the old mine style a very long time ago. It is beautiful. This is a fantastic engagement ring that supports responsible sourcing. If green sourcing and recycled alloys are important this will be an excellent choice. The antique box is included. Please study all the photos and ask questions. This ring is priced incredibly fair according to current gold prices and the value of the antique box. NOTE! This is a preowned, used, worn, ring. It will have visible signs of wear including but not limited to scratches, swirls in metals, dents, dings, defects of metal surfaces and structures, wear to the stone and possibly other oversights in my description.
