This gorgeous porcelain brooch is handpainted and has a middle east feel. I cannot find anything about it! The gold is a gold leaf and the small white spaces are filled with intricate green and purple designs. 1 1/2" across. The porcelain is framed with sterling lacework. It appears the clasp has been updated.

@virginia8668 isn’t this a gorgeous and most unique brooch? I’m actually surprised I’m selling it because I love things that I’ve never seen before that are obviously made of special materials and from a foreign country.

@virginia8668 But honestly my thought was if someone has a story or knows something about this hand painted with amazing detail and a gold like I’ve never seen painted with, on porcelain of a tiny scene, first I would want them to share the story and then I would want them to have it because it’s obviously special! I’m thinking it’s either from the Middle East or possibly the Ukraine (inspired by the Psyanky Egg painting). I think the gold is 24k.
