Vintage 18K Yellow Gold & Amethyst Locket

Please read the full description and see all pictures before submitting your offer.  Today for your consideration we have a vintage yellow gold and cabochon Amethyst stone locket pendant.  This beauty has etched cut design on the front top.  There is an oval amethyst in the center of the front set in a full gold setting.  The locket opens to a brushed swirl design and two parts where you can place pictures or hair for mourning. Locket is yellow gold but not marked. Locket has a positive test of more than 14k but less than 18k gold. Locket measures 2 3/4", amethyst in setting measures approximately 1/4" L x 1/2" H.   Locket weighs 17 grams. Locket is engraved on the back "Love Genie and Lesly 12-20-1964".
