Vintage 1912 collectors GEM Safety razor, engraved Brooklyn NY Made In USA, comes in original box, outside engraved STAR BRAND SHOES ARE BETTER,I believe it was a giveaway. Inside is a purple velvet like material, the back logo is no longer readable. Razor comes apart in two pieces, no blades, metal razor in great condition for the age.

team2020 question, can this be use for shaving ? Besides the age marks, any cracks, rust, or other damages on this razor ? thank you

bkluck @team2020 yes can be used as a shaver but there is no blade, I’m not sure what type it takes. No rust or cracks on the shaver but the box has wear and discoloration. Hope this helps thanks!
