Vintage (1917) Community Silver Plate Utinsil Rest

Community silver plated fork circa 1917 turned into a utensil rest as was common practice in that era. It was considered bad manners to leave your flatware on your plate and as not to ruin fine table linens the utensil rest was commonly used. This is the pattern Adam. This is a beautiful vintage piece that has been in my family for over 75 years.
