Vintage 1930s 1940s Yellow Collard Sleeveless Top Blouse

Lovely little yellow sleeveless blouse with peplum that just needs some TLC. This cute v front too with collar comes I. A lovely shade of yellow. Zips up side with metal Taylor zipper. From 1930s or 1940s based on zipper. Fabric feel like an early rayon to me, but I don’t really know. While measurements are for a small or extra small it is a side zip pull over so it may be best for juniors or extra extra small as it’s hard to get into. I think this can easily be remedied if you were to continue the zipper all the way down with a longer one to the hem down the side- if you know how to do that… unfortunately I don’t. No labels. Approximate Measurements: Bust:38 inches max Waist: 26 inches max Hem: 36 inches Length: 20 inches Fair vintage condition: overall wear to fabric. Som small pulls found. Som spots and marks found as well. You can see the hand stitching in places. The biggest issue is that many of the seams are popped. If you know how to repair this, I am told it’s a very easy fix- I just do t know how, I’m sorry. As stated above to measurements are a bit off with reality. Given how it’s constructed, I was unable to get this on my XS dress form because the zipper doesn’t go all the way down- the zipper itself functions fine it’s just the construction of the garment with the zipper and seam. I think if you removed the zipper and added a longer on so it goes all the way down to the hem it would be alot easier to get in. Again, I just don’t know how to do that.
