This necklace was originally made in two pieces (eagle and tri-lobe) by casting, then they were soldered together with more pewter by a metalsmith. Most pewter by the 20th Century is based off of the metal content of Britannia Pewter which is lead free,. ***I have not performed a lead test so please do not put this in your mouth or let babies use it as a teething ring.
