Edna Wallace Hopper was an American actress on stage and in silent films. She was among the first actors to have a facelift. She arranged to have the operation filmed and then made personal appearance tours over the next eight years showing the film and giving beauty tips. She was also among the first actors to endorse a line of products of which this cardboard container is an example. The container is 2-5/16" dia. by .75" deep. Her name and an endorsement of the product appears in text on the underside and includes "This is the finest powder I have found and has a soft aroma.
