Vintage 1930's Jolles Original Austrian Petit Point Tapestry Evening Bag, Vienna

Jolles Orignal Purse Vintage Floral Embroidery with Applied Gold Coins Purse with Layered Beading. Beautiful vintage purse featuring lovely embroidery and small metal faux gold coins with Greek goddess in repousse. Inside is lined in chartreuse green plastic covered lining. This purse is stunning and has layer upon layer of petit point embroidery, applied glass beads, velvet petals, and red faceted stones. Wonderful vintage condition with minimal wear with the exception of one spot on the reverse side that I did not try to clean. I am not an expert at cleaning vintage textiles therefore I did not make any attempts to remove spot. Most of these purses show much more evidence of wear due to age. This is a beauty. Jolles designer tag on inside. Measures 12” to top of chain, 7” to top of purse and 8.5” wide. Kiss-lock closure works perfectly.
