This was an accidental purchase that I somehow made when I drifted off to sleep while window shopping on the posh streets. The following is a very detailed description from the original seller. Enjoy! Vintage 1930s Trifari KTF Alfred Philippe pave diamante ribbon clipmate. The back of this beauty on both sides are marked with the patent no. The pieces before 1937 were only marked with the pat.no. Pin measures 2" L × 11/4" H. There is minor wear on the back and I do see two missing stones. With the design of this brooch, you definitely cannot see the missing stones while wearing. There is minor yellowing to some of the stones, normal with a piece of the age. Trifari Large Brooch clip mate Duette. This brooch can be separated into two dress clips. There are two patent numbers listed on the safety clip. The patent # 2050804 was created by Trifari, Kussman, and Fishel Inc. in August 1936. The patent inventor was Alfred Phillipe.
