Vintage 1937 Fortune Magazine

Rare! Especially in this excellent condition! Very collectible circa 1937 authentic Fortune magazine. I have several of these from the same era that I purchased from an antiquarian on Canal Street when I first moved to NYC IN 1980. I’ve cherished owning this collection for over 40 years, and carefully stored them to preserve their value. Imagine that Abercrombie and Fitch was in business in 1937! Bindings are in good condition, with no loose pages. Very heavy paper, with some colored pages that appear to be hand colored, though I can’t verify. There is no tissue paper separating these pages, which would typically be seen in hand colored book plates. Covers show some wear, certainly expected, considering the age of the publication. Majority of the pics in this listing are from one magazine. The last pic is the cover from November 1938. I have a total of 8 magazines, the latest published in 1940. I’ll create a listing for each in the days ahead.
