Vintage 1940's 1950's Women's Tan Boucle Forstmann Wool Princess Cut Coat, Small

Vintage 1940's/50's Women's Tan/Camel Boucle Forstmann Wool Princess Cut Coat, Size Small Based on the Forstmann's label, I determined this coat was made in the 1940s or 50s. Sewn in tag reads "Salben's Scranton," which could be name of store where it was purchased in Scranton Pennsylvania. Beautiful & distinctive vintage coat! Wear it and travel back in time! Princess coats are named for the princess seams that run vertically over the bust. They are coats you wear to feel like princess - with wide, swishy skirts and nipped-in waists. This absolutely fabulous, nubby boucle wool coat is mid-length and has a super soft, chocolate brown Mouton Fur, cape fur collar. It has had one owner, my mother-in-law. The coat has a nice flirty flair and stops just below the knee. It has a one button front closure with a snap just under the collar. It has large, 4" cuffs, and a smaller inside button cuff to keep the cold from going up your sleeve. The lining is a shimmery camel color, but shows it's age with some wear & some repairs. Recommend professional cleaning. Overall, the coat is in very good condition with minimal wear on the outside, where it counts. The fur is also super soft and is in very excellent condition.
