This wall lamp was set over a table in the Bedford/Beachwood area of Cleveland in the 1940s - The same area that was the physical setting for the famous Christmas Story movie that ended in a Chinese restaurant after the Bumpus dogs ate the turkey. This is the type of lighting that would have decorated such a place.
Amazing vintage Asian themed/Geisha Girl lighted shadow box frame, which is painted a cream color. This piece features a nice design on reverse painted glass. This was made by Formed Product Co, but I do not find any identifying marks. This piece does light up and work. The lamp has three settings. Measures 15 inches long by 12.25 inches by 3 inches deep. Piece has some lighter wear, overall in good shape. There is no serious damage to speak of.
Shadowbox has two antique bulbs and a threeway switch - everything works great.
This piece will ship well packaged via USPS Ground.
( The first photo shows the lamp turned on, and the second photo is with the lamp turned off. )
