Vintage 1940s Book, "Favorite Poems of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow"

All Longfellow's best poems, collected in this one volume. Published in 1947 by Doubleday & Company, this is a first edition. There is an introduction by Henry Seidel Canby and it is charmingly illustrated by Edward A. Wilson. Measures 8.5" x 5.75". Excellent vintage condition. Some mild color fade to the cover, and a few dings here and there. The pages are intact but slightly yellowed with age. Please note: These are vintage, preworn and/or preloved items.
