Vintage 1940s Dress Novelty Print Black White M Pinup Rockabilly 40s

Very neat 1940s dress in a geometric print and white trim/buttons. Textured cotton blend ramps it up from just a "house dress" but has that classic shirtwaist style. Pull-over styling with no zip/snap closures so body dimensions need to be well under garment dimensions. Probable home sew project but relatively well done. No stretch cotton blend. Pull-over styling with functional buttons but no zip/snaps. No tags. Would not fit on modern dress form with bust of 36"/ w 26" / H 36". Suggest a modern M (or even S to M) with this no stretch material and pull-over design - please consider this and judge accordingly. The measurements are a little deceptive and are definitely absolute max. B 40" W 32” H 39” Length 44” (17" to waist) Shows little wear overall for an 80 year old garment.
