Vintage 1940's Liberty Parcel Post Scale Triner Steel Scale Shipping

This unique Liberty Postal Scale has a label that has been updated from 1952, it was made in Chicago, Illinois USA. This scale is gunmetal and in vintage preowned condition. May have been used in a post office or perhaps a business that did the mailing. It has oxidized and no longer works. The white scale is marked "eff. 10/01/1952 This scale is 5 1/2" tall and the base is 6" X 4 3/8". Heavy for its size it weighs 1 lb. 13 oz. unpacked. On the back of the scale, there is a removable round disc that housed the regulating screw. This item is a Vintage/Antique item and shows the usage, wear and tear of that type of item.
