Adorable 1940s made in occupied Japan porcelain figurine of two dogs playing in the yard. The dogs have long ears and are reminiscent of basset hounds or a cocker spaniel or another spaniel. The older dog has its paw up and the puppy is laying down and they are looking at each other in communication. Made an occupied Japan on bottom. Nice, uncommon piece. Painted well in the round with a shiny glaze. Pups have nice spots and are realistic looking. Can be used to decorate a mantle, kids room bookshelf, as a gift for an animal or pet lover, or as a gift to owners of floppy eared dogs, paperweight / office desk decor.
Size: 3.4" x 2" x 1.75"
Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks.
