Vintage 1940s Raspberry Gown and Bolero Jacket Two Piece Set Small

Vintage 1940s rich raspberry gown and bolero, two-piece dress set.   The gown is a gorgeous shade of raspberry. Dual spaghetti straps, gathered breast cups on bodice and metal zipper. Maxi / floor length. It's more true to the color of the mannequin photos, the lighting in the professional shoot was warmer and makes it appear more coral.   Bolero as structured, dramatic shoulders, short sleeves, button down front and a beautiful cut "mini tail" detail in the back (see image).   If you don't want to wear the jacket, pair it with a gorgeous scarf like in the photos for an equally dramatic look. **There are pinholes in the skirt, they mostly fall into the pleating or natural folds of the skirt, so they are not really noticeable when worn, but they are there.
