Vintage 1940s Round Black Corde Bag, Intricately Detailed

1940s'corde bag in a hard-to-find round shape features detailed workmanship--from the center medallion and handle attachments on the outside to the pleated rayon-satin lining and braided trim on the inside. Semi-structured body with rounded diamond-shaped metal pull. Great for the spring and summer prom, party, and wedding season! Bag is a solid, unfaded black. Was shot on an orange background and has brownish tint toward the bottom, but is not in the fabric. SIZE: Approx. 9" across widest part x 8" high x 3.5" across bottom. CONDITION: Near mint, hardly used. Edges of bottom show some barely discernable wear, lining is pristine.
