Vintage 1940’s Swirl and Ball by Westmoreland Luster Red Flash Candy Dish Footed

Vintage Glass candy bowl with lid made by Westmoreland Glass Company, Line #1840, Swirl and Ball, 1940 - 41. Fantastic covered footed bowl, with beautiful cranberry stain on the ball feature of this pattern. As seen in the pictures, the red is covered in a gold tone when the light catches. This pattern was produced for little more than a year due to the entrance of America into WW2. This piece measures 4 1/4" tall, 7 1/2" tall to the finial and the bowl is 5" in diameer.
