Vintage 1940s Topsail Light Grass Green Sanforized Clam Digger Capris Side Zip

This is a wonderful pair of vintage (estimated to be from the 1940’s, possible early 1950’s) “Top Sail” lighter grass green clam digger, capri pants. The label reads “Made of Topsail Plied Yarn Sailcloth - a Wellington Sears Fabric Sanforized.” Talon metal side zip and white button closure. Two front pockets and one back patch pocket. White accent stitching. High waist fit. For their age, in very good condition. There are some areas of color fading, where the fabric is lighter. A couple fabric nubs or pills. On the back, there are a couple of areas where there a some smatterings of dark brown/red stains. Some loose threads. Like on the tag, around the belt loops, and especially on the inner construction. Very slight vintage odor - I am not sure if from my laundry detergent or slight reminiscent of moth balls. I have tried to note all flaws I can see, but please remember with some imperfections may be hard to catch or notice. •Waist=22” •Hips=38” •Rise (middle of crotch to top of waist)=13.5” •Length=32.5” From smoke free, cat friendly home.
