Vintage 1940s Men's Plaid Wool Hunting Pants made by "Woolrich." Red & black plaid wool in Mackinaw design, made of 100% wool in Rainproof knit. Button front closure with belt loops. Side pockets, key pocket on waistband, and back flap pockets. Banded ankle cuffs made of rib knit wool. These are meant to fit inside a pair of tall, insulated boots. Size tag is Vintage U.S. UNKNOWN. Size is estimated as a contemporary 40 WAIST, based on measurements. ***Note that sizing runs differently across brands and eras.
