Vintage 1940s-50s Beaded and Embroidered Walborg Hand made France Evening Bag

Exquisite vintage hand-beaded and embroidered bag from the 1940s or 50s, marked with the Walborg stamp on the inside satiny lining. There is some wear to the beading on the clasp,and there is a tiny spot of loose beads on the body, as shown in the last picture. Overall, the beading and embroidery are in incredible shape. Just look at the gorgeous handiwork along the top of the frame! There is one smalll stain on the inside lining, as shown. The chain is a later addition, since typically chain straps on these purses were not this long, and were a different style. The bag itself measures 7 x 5”, and the strap is 15”, doubled. The newer strap will allow you to wear this over your shoulder, should you choose to add it to your outfit.
