It came from my Uncle’s Vintage tie collection Barkcloth, a type of dense, textured cotton weave, was often used in draperies or slipcovers of the era. In recent years, barkcloth has enjoyed a renaissance, now seen covering photo albums, hat boxes, vintage luggage, lampshades, purses, and pillows.
