Vintage 1950s Black Sheath Dress w bow & peek a boo Pink Ruffle neck

Simple black silk sheath dress from the 1950s with a VERY cute twist and a Jackie Kennedy vibe. Fitted at the waist with a darling bow and a relaxed ruffled high neck. The bow and the neckline are lined with baby pink. No fabric or band id tags. But almost certainly silk shantung. unlined Center back metal zipper marked size 11, but disregard that number! vintage sizes have nothing to do with modern sizes. This dress fits my size 4 mannequin well. Pls use flat measurements below: Armpit to Armpit: 19.5" Waist: 13.25" Hips: 19.5" Overall Length: 37" - it is unlined and the hem is deep. You can easily change the hem to make it shorter BUT!! the fabric turned under for the current hem has some significant discoloration due to being stored on a hanger and inside out for many years before I bought it. So you can make it shorter if you like but probably not longer. Thank you for looking #70443
