Vintage 1950s Cat Eye Sunglasses

a beautiful pair of composite sunglasses from the late 1950s. made of lucite or another composite plastic of the era with black enamel painted accents. these originally had prescription lenses but those lenses have been replaced with plastic, non-prescription lenses in a warm brown shade. (the original lenses were also brown). our in house jeweler has also replaced the corner screws for modern ones that are both nickel and lead free. very little wear. no major scratches etc. these are very cool and surprisingly light weight. measurements corner to corner across frames: 6” arm length: 5.75” actual lens: 2” wide at wides point 1.25” tall
