Vintage 1950's Cream Silk Organza Tea Length Wedding Dress With Veil Size 0-2

Beautiful A-line cream colored vintage (1950's/60's) tea length 3/4 sleeve wedding dress. Lace floral applique on front upper left of skirt. Silk organza layer over the taffeta skirt. Has a matching rosette hair comb veil. The netting is very fragile because it is vintage and has a small tear in the veil (see photo) but is actually not visible unless looking closely. Could be worn with careful handling or replaced. I believe this was handmade, but I do not know as there is a tag in it that says it is silk organza. Boatneck top. Matching sewn on bow at waistline. Cinched pleated circle skirt (you could increase the volume if you wore a tulle skirt slip under it). Hidden back zipper with hook and eye closure. Lined. No stains and only slightly yellowed. Could be your vintage wedding dress, or, a great display for your collection or vintage store. Size tag says 10, but according to US women dress size chart it is NOT, so check the measurements carefully. It aligns with measurements between a US size 0 and 2. I did not dry clean this. I will leave the cleaning up to the buyer. If you do, I would recommend you find a drycleaner experienced in cleaning vintage items. Measurements are taken laid flat and approximate. Underarm to underarm 16". Waist 12.5". Shoulder to hem 42". Waist to hem 25.5". Full circumference of hem approximately 82". As this is true vintage, it is sold "as is" and is a final sale.
