Vintage 1950s Crown Trifari Green Lucite Triple Strand Necklace

A recently acquired estate sale treasure, I was so excited to find this vintage Trifari necklace in the lot. The hook is signed, "Trifari" without the crown and the 2" extender has the Crown Trifari hang tag. Made with a beautiful shade of green Lucite bead shaped to look like stones and separated with smaller brass beads, this triple strand necklace measures approximately 17" and features the hook closure. A close inspection revealed some discoloration on some of the beads as illustrated in the photos which I was able to clean off with a damp cotton swab but I may have missed some. Other than that, the necklace and all of its findings are in good condition. Research on this necklace, based on the stamp and the hang tag and the materials, I estimate this piece to be from the 1950s and please note that I am no expert by any means!
