This jacket was issued by the Escambia County sheriffs department in 1962. Feel free to message me for jacket measurements. I’ve owned the jacket since the early 1990’s. It’s been in a closet and maintained every few years. It’s been quite a while since it’s been worn. This jacket is a mirror image of a Schott Perfecto from the early 1960's, as it has a snap above the collar label, and identical belt buckle and shoulder epaulets. The size tag lives in the small pocket in front just as the Perfecto. It may have been rebranded before being sold originally. Donald S Lavigne did a lot of military and police items in those days.
