Vintage 1950s Egyptian Motif Appetizer Trays and/or Jewelry Trays

Vintage set of four small cocktail or appetizer serving trays made in the 1950's by the Alfred E. Knobler company. Each of the trays are identical, with a colorful Egyptian motif depicting heiroglyphics and ancient Egyptian imagery. They're supposedly made of pressed paper mache, but are hard and firm like a plastic composition. The backs are all marked (some very faded) in red "ALFRED E. KNOBLER - ALCOHOL PROOF - JAPAN" and also have green velvet fabric liner on the backs. Each tray measures 8.25" long by 5" wide by .5" tall. The trays are in decently good shape with no cracks or chips and just have some age appropriate finish wear along the rims and 2 trays have some noticeable wear (shown in pictures) Get these Eyptian Revival novelties for your next cocktail party or King Tut fest.
