Vintage 1950's Hand Carved Chinese Double Dragon Cinnabar Bangle

The design for this 1950's hand carved bangle dates back to 1920, and depicts two beautifully detailed dragons in carved relief. The material is cinnabar, (commonly known as 'dragon's breath'). Cinnabar is frequently seen in Asian jewelry. Red is associated with luck, and dragons are protective in Asian cultures. The opening measures 2.5", and the bracelet is 3/4" wide. It is in excellent condition.
