Vintage 1950s Mens 10k Gold Filled case & band Lord Elgin 25 jewels Day Date

Vintage from the 1950s A very nice mid-1950's high-grade watch. This premium watch is self-winding and has a date window. I have never opened the case, so I'm not sure how many jewels it has. Normally, the Lord Elgins were 21 to 25 jewels. The case , crystal, dial and band are in very good condition. All show some wear, but nothing requiring attention. It seems to run very well and quietly, and the self-winder seems to be fine. The case is gold filled front and back.An unusual shape in this watch. The case measures about 1 1/4" square.
