Vintage 1950s Peruvian Silver Handcrafted Metalwork Figural Brooch Set

Vintage c1950s Peruvian Silver Metalwork from Peru in South America. Handmade Folk Art Man & Woman Married Brooch Set. Both in Fabulous & Clean Condition considering their age w/very minor wear and no corrosion to the metal. C Clasp Closure and Pin Stems are still nice and tight. The Set has not been silver tested but I believe these to be 950 Silver as is typical of these Peruvian Pieces w/ an Aluminum Alloy. They have a slight dark patina outline that when I lightly polished a small section , it wiped off completely. I see no evidence of corrosion or vertigris typical of base metals. The brooches are lightweight like Aluminum and because their is no tarnish one might expect to see with base metal, it appears to have Aluminum content. Aluminum does not tarnish and when alloyed with Silver , it is self healing and keeps the silver patina buildup to a minimum. The Brooches are not magnetic but the Pin Stem is a magnetic base metal.
