Vintage 1950's Porch dress🌻

Red and white checked with navy trim at sleeve ends and pockets. The collar is a delicate navy polka dot with navy rick rack and a couple of flowers. Zip front with ties at neck. Small pleats above and below inset waistband. Growing up I remember seeing this is my mother's drawers of new things she never wore. It feels like it still has the sizing in it so I don't think it's ever been worn. The only flaw I see is there's some yellowing at the collar. I have not washed because I think it's new and want to let the owner treat it as they prefer.
