Vintage 1950's Sapphire Blue PILGRIM Crackle Glass Pitcher With Applied Handles.

This RARE sapphire blue PILGRIM Crackle Glass Pitcher was made by the Pilgrim Company of Huntington, WV. The company was in business from the mid-1940's until 2002. The crackle glass effect is produced by plunging the hot glass into cold water and then removing it quickly for reheating. It must be done skillfully or the glass will shatter. The pitcher measures 4 1/2 inches high and 3 1/2 inches wide. It is in excellent condition having been on a shelf for years. There are no chips or breaks of any kind.
