Vintage 1950's "Shaheen's of Honolulu" Aloha Shirt - Hawaiian Map Design

This is an original vintage 1950s “Shaheen of Honolulu” aloha shirt that is styled with a rare silver metallic print pattern which highlights a map charting the Hawaiian Islands. The design includes the names of each island, nautical compass, and fishing boats catching jumping marlin. The Shaheen metallic dyes were an original innovative creation that he used to outline a print or for the print pattern itself. It has been 70 years since the dyes were first created and yet they remain intact on many Shaheen collectible aloha shirts like this one. This clean shirt is in great condition with no flaws. It’s 100% cotton shirt with the classic polished bamboo buttons, horizontal button holes, a collar button loop and left front pocket.
