Vintage 1950s Souvenir Scarf from Switzerland

Cute checkerboard style scarf from circa the Fifties! Bright brick red with a rosy-mauve / beige and off white color palette. Almost each square has an illustration of a Swiss city / town: Geneve, Valais, Zurich, Luzern, etc. in olive green, golden yellow, orange, and black. Material looks and feels like a lightweight twill, but possibly a silk blend with acetate. Machine stitched edges. In good condition with a vintage look and wear and a small manufacturer's flaw on the word "Neuchatel" (please see pictures).
