Vintage 1950s Tweed Pencil Dress Yellow Size S/M

This true vintage secretary dress by R&K Originals features a fitted look and a mustard yellow and beige tweed fabric, reminiscent of the elegant style and class of a bygone era! Half sleeves Full metal zipper in back Hook and thread closure at neck Darted chest Faux front pockets Partially lined Defined waist No fabric tag, but feels like woven acrylic Union Tag dates this 1955-1963 Pit to pit 18" plus darts Waist 13", no stretch Hips about 16" and pleated Length 40" In great vintage condition! A couple of small moth like bites inside Hem is a whopping 5.5", so I believe it was shortened perhaps. The lining is a work in progress...the lining hem is perfectly pinned as seen in photo and ready to be stitched. Or wear as is, as the lining can't be seen! Lining may have been added at a later date(?) but definitely makes the dress softer on your skin. Photos show the dress inside out as well. Thread belt loop on each side but no belt included.
