Vintage 1950's - early 60's Surf and Shore Hawaiian shirt - shimmering gold dye!

Be ready to wear this one at your next cocktail party! This is stunning 1950’s – early 60’s Hawaiian shirt made by Surf and Shore in Honolulu. The shirt design provides a picture of the scenic delights of Hawaii during this era such as palm trees with Diamond Head in the background, the gracious Aloha Tower and sailboats off the Waikiki shore. What makes this shirt so amazing is the fabric has been taken through an additional step in the screening process to apply a gold metallic dye to create a custom shimmering design of stars and ocean onto the print. In addition, the shirt has a classic 4-button front, polished coconut husk buttons, horizontal buttonholes, left front pocket and a matching fabric collar button loop. This clean Hawaiian shirt is a true vintage 1950’s as shown in the Label Reference Guide photo I’ve provided.
