1956 handmade and reworked from a 1930s wedding dress The brides mother reworked her 1930s wedding gown for her daughter's marriage on April 21, 1956. You can see where the darts were removed and areas on the side of the bodice where pieces were added to extend the size. All the buttons were also hand-made by her mother as well.
