Vintage 1960s 1970s Gold Dress Cocktail Party Frock 36 M Short Formal A Line

Sparkling 1960s, 1970s gold party dress. A layer of gold open brocade look netting with floral designs. Sheer from the bust line up and in the back. Wide ribbon trim in a darker gold that has cut glass golden rondels throughout. (Some have discolored, but not that noticeable in the shine and sparkle.) The bottom layer, which is a gold lame type fabric: Bust is 36 inches Waist is 36 inches. Hips are 42 inches. Length is 40 inches. Shoulder shoulder is 15 inches. 3/4 wide sleeve is 14 inches long. The top layer of netting is a few inches wider, so it floats above the lame. There are a few issues which can all be repaired. See the detail photos. There is a horizontal opening of 2 inches across in the netting close to the shoulder. A little bit of the netting has lifted from the collar. There is some shattering of the fine lining at the upper back on both sides, but not at all visible. The lining has also torn where it connects with the lame fabric by the zipper, a little bit on both sides. Again, I stress that these can all be fixed. Belt is not included in the sale. Overall good condition.
