Vintage 1960s 1970s Nina Ricci Black Pleated Skirt Classic Timeless Rare

This is a fantastic Nina Ricci skirt! The workmanship is incredible, with hand stitching evident. This skirt is timeless and classic, you will wear it for many years! Features: Lining above the pleats only (hip area) possibly in black silk Nubby black fabric Metal partial zipper with hook/eye on waistband Loops for hanging Below knee length The only tag says: Nina Ricci “Boutique” Paris. There isn’t a fabric content label, so I’m not sure what the skirt fabric is. It is a crisp nubby black fabric, that presents beautifully. You can tell this is a luxury item by looking at it! I believe the lining at the top is probably silk, but I am not 100% sure. Skirt was too tiny for the mannequin, so I also photographed it on the dress form. It pulls a little bit in the photos on the mannequin,but I wanted you to be able to see length and fullness of the skirt better than you can on the dress form. Skirt is in excellent vintage condition. There are just a few (approx. 1”) of missing stitches where the lining meets the skirt. It smells a bit musty, I am airing it out, but enclosing it for shipping will make it smell musty again. Measurements are taken with garment laying flat, doubled as appropriate. Measurements are of garment itself and the fabric is NOT stretchy, so leave room for your body and movement! Waistband: 25” Hips: 35” Overall length from top of waistband to hem: 25 1/4” Waistband is 1” thick Hem allowance is approximately 1.5” if you want to make it longer
