Vintage 1960's Blue Needlepoint Wool Pillow Sham w/ Roses & Leaves This is for a vintage 1960's era needlepoint pillow sham done in two shades of blue, a darker more colonial blue and a lighter pale blue. The pattern is scroll work leaves, some geometric work and in the center is a cluster of roses. This is a classic beauty and it feels like it's made of wool so it's made to last the decades. The back fabric and the border is done in a blue velvet fabric. This pillow sham is not a simple tuck the ends in sham, it's meant to be sewn shut and secured. It's currently open and waiting for a new pillow to be put inside. This pillow sham needlepoint is perfect, however, on the border and in spots on the back fabric is some staining. We didn't wash this sham to see if the stains would wash out but this sham could be used as a pillow with new backing fabric or taken apart and used for a craft if the stains don't wash out. It measures about 15.5 x 15.5 inches.
